A second post today, just to round off the year. Climate change is bringing strange things and unusual weather. It was snowy at Christmas and rather cold. The last two days have brought milder temperatures that have melted the snow (it returns tomorrow mixed with rain - delightful) but the result has been that the ice that covers the river (St-Lawrence) has a thin layer of water across it that provides a perfect mirror to reflect the sky. Here are just a few images of the bay at Baie-D’Urfé as we wind down towards the new year.

These are some of the places I go to find suburban wildlife “Whilst Out Walking” - please come back tomorrow, January 1st, for more. I hope (intend) to have images of the sun rising on a new year.
