During the PNW Heat Anomaly of 2021 when temperatures reached 116° F. here in Portland, I had a hummingbird fly in and out of my garden hose water as I was watering the plants! I think she was trying to get drinks!
No cedar waxwings this year, but then again the only moving water feature in my backyard is me with my watering hose!
